Ms Annie Kawandami-Kamwendo
Annie Kawandami-Kamwendo is a Legal Advisor with experience spanning over ten (10) years. She has worked in various sectors including the Mining, Agriculture, Government, and Non-Profit Sectors. She has been exposed to a wide range of laws throughout her career including commercial, arbitration, employment, contract, corporate, mining, private, and human rights laws. Annie holds a Master of Laws from the University of Zambia. She is also a qualified Legislative Drafting expert from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education and a licensed Corporate Governance Practitioner with the Governance Institute, UK. Finally, she is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK.
Ms Ranna Musa
Ranna, a Senior Associate at Reed Smith, is an experienced arbitration and commercialdisputes lawyer with over a decade in complex, high-value cases across the Middle East and North Africa. She specializes in cross-border commercial, construction, and energy disputes, advising on interim relief measures, arbitral award enforcement, and set-aside applications. Ranna has acted as counsel in DIAC, DIFC-LCIA, and ad hoc arbitrations, and recently served as a sole arbitrator in a construction dispute. She frequently contributes to industry publications, speaks at regional events, and serves as vice-chair of Young AfAA, an ITA Mentorship Programme facilitator, and an ACL member.
Mr Gerhard Rudolph
Gerhard Rudolph, Managing Partner of A&O Shearman South Africa, represents and advises clients on a wide range of contentious and risk management issues.

He is typically mandated in civil litigation, arbitration proceedings and investigations in South Africa, across the African continent and beyond, representing clients in complex transactional, public law and regulatory disputes and enforcement proceedings. Gerhard has established a truly international practice over more than 25 years. His sector expertise covers mining, energy, and infrastructure, financial services as well as restructuring and insolvency. Gerhard has been ranked as a leading dispute resolution lawyer in legal directories for almost two decades. He is also regarded as one of the leading construction law specialists in South Africa and is consistently recognized for his work in insolvency and restructuring.
Tawanda Zhuwarara
Tawanda Zhuwarara is an Advocate of the Superior Courts of Zimbabwe and has been in practice for 18 years. His main areas of practice are commercial litigation which includes domestic and international commercial arbitration. His arbitration experience includes, public and private sector disputes, construction project disputes, mining disputes, supply of goods and services, tenancy agreements, share holder disputes and Joint Venture disputes. He has conducted cases under the Model Law, AFSA rules and UNCITRAL rules. Apart from representing litigants before domestic arbitral tribunals, Tawanda also has a busy practice dealing with the enforcement and/or setting aside of arbitral awards in Zimbabwean Courts. Tawanda is not only instructed in commercial mayors but is also regularly briefed in matters relating to Public and Constitutional Law. Tawanda has been involved in many high profile matters many of which are regularly reported in Zimbabwe’s Law Reports.
